The Matinee are quickly establishing themselves as one of Vancouver’s premiere Indie acts.  Blending a passion for finely creafted tunes and some good old fashioned mischief, The Matinee have proven to be a live act that delivers.  Their unique mixture of rootsy rock and Indie anthems has captured the attention of music facns across North America, with songs ‘Mama’ and ‘San Kiego’ recently charting on numerous college radion stations.  With the success of the first album under their belts, and a new album in the works for Spring 2008, it’s showtime for The Matinee.
