Mental Health Commission of Canada is looking for youth under 25 – prizes
Are you under 25? Than we need your help!
The Child and Youth Advisory Committee of the Mental Health Commission of Canada is creating a child and youth mental health framework for Canada to make sure that the mental health needs of young people are recognized.
This framework, called Evergreen, will be used to build policies, programs and services for mental health across Canada. As young people, we deserve a voice and we have the right to be recognized in policies that affect US! We should NOT let parents, teachers, social workers, doctors and others build a framework about us, without us.
To show our appreciation for your time, each person who completes the survey will have his/her email address entered into a raffle with the possibility of winning an iPod or iTunes gift certificate!!!  Also, if you help us email the survey to other young people you will have more chances to win the raffle. For every five friends you connect us with, you will be entered one extra time into the raffle. Please complete the survey before midnight November 15, 2009!
We have the power to shape the future of Canada’s mental health system. Let’s show Canada that young people know our rights, that we have a voice and that we have knowledge and opinions about mental health.
You don’t need to give your name and you only need to give your email address if you want to enter the raffle or if you want us to email you a copy of Evergreen. We will keep all of your information private. If you have any questions about Evergreen please email, Jess or Alan at evergreen@iwk.nshealth.ca
Please Pass this email along to all young people you know and help make a difference for young people in Canada!
